Terms of Service

These Terms of Service explain how you may use My Flight Deck, what we expect from account holders, and how we handle subscriptions, billing, and acceptable use.

0. Who we are and how to contact us

My Flight Deck is a self-service software platform operated by 7275919 Canada Inc. ("My Flight Deck", "we", "our", or "us"). You can contact us at support@myflightdeck.com for account, billing, or legal questions.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, ordering a subscription, or otherwise using My Flight Deck, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you accept on behalf of a business or organization, you represent you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate registration information and promptly update contact and payment details.
  • Account owners are responsible for activity under their credentials, including access granted to teammates, co-owners, or maintenance partners.
  • Unauthorized access attempts, credential sharing outside your organization, automated scraping, or other misuse is prohibited.

3. Nature of services and delivery

  • My Flight Deck is delivered digitally and provides software functionality only. We do not provide human-driven services beyond standard customer support.
  • Platform outputs, reminders, and insights are informational and must be validated against your operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Access to the service begins when your order is confirmed. We use Lemon Squeezy to invoice and collect payment on our behalf.

4. Merchant of record and invoicing

  • Lemon Squeezy acts as the merchant of record for your transaction. Charges on your statement will reference Lemon Squeezy or My Flight Deck.
  • By purchasing, you accept any Lemon Squeezy buyer terms presented at checkout in addition to these Terms. Payment is due according to the invoice or checkout terms you see before confirming the order.
  • If Lemon Squeezy requests additional verification (for example, to comply with fraud prevention or domain verification requirements), you agree to provide accurate information so your order can be completed.

5. Content and data rights

  • You retain ownership of aircraft records, documents, and other content you upload.
  • You grant My Flight Deck a limited license to process, store, and display your content as needed to deliver the service, including generating insights, timelines, and reminders.
  • Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or confidential material you are not authorized to share. We may monitor usage for security, troubleshooting, and improvement.

6. Pricing, taxes, and payment

  • Pricing, billing frequency, and plan features are shown at checkout and in your account. Taxes, fees, or exchange rates may apply based on your location.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled in advance.
  • Invoices issued by Lemon Squeezy on our behalf are payable according to the payment terms presented during checkout.

7. Cancellations, credits, and refunds

  • You may cancel a monthly or annual subscription from your billing settings at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing period and is not prorated.
  • Purchased credits are non-refundable. Optional add-ons may be canceled or downgraded and will take effect in the next billing period; no partial refunds apply to the current period.
  • If your total storage used exceeds the storage included in a lower-tier add-on, you cannot complete a downgrade unless you also keep enough storage add-ons to cover your current usage.
  • Upon cancellation, your account becomes read-only. You will retain access to view and export your data for one year after the effective cancellation date.
  • If you re-subscribe during that year, maintaining an active subscription for at least three consecutive months resets the one-year data availability window should you cancel again.

8. Service changes and availability

  • We may update features, interfaces, or infrastructure to improve performance, compliance, or security. Material changes will be communicated through the app or email.
  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance windows will be announced in advance when possible.

9. Security and data protection

  • We implement technical and organizational safeguards described on our Security page and in the Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for using strong passwords, enabling multi-factor authentication where available, and revoking access for former collaborators.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately so we can investigate and assist.

10. Acceptable use

  • No reverse engineering, probing, or circumventing of security or platform limits.
  • No sending spam, malware, or abusive content through the platform.
  • No using the service to violate applicable aviation regulations, data protection laws, or third-party rights.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • My Flight Deck provides tools to assist with record keeping but does not replace required inspections, certifications, or regulatory filings.
  • The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding any claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where 7275919 Canada Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith discussions between you and My Flight Deck. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration or small claims court, where permitted by local law.
